Project Description
The PRM dyeing factory in Erode, Tamil Nadu, started as a small dyeing unit in the early 1980s and slowly grew into a giant in the dyeing industry. They dye many kinds of fabric using various methods and processes. We had done dewatering for PRM dyeing factory’s pollution plant tank of dimensions 10 metres depth and 40 metres width.
Challenges Faced
Since the factory was very close to water bodies, there was very high seepage in addition to groundwater. Also, the pollution plant tank’s design and construction methods were slightly different from the traditional construction of raft slabs, as the tank had to be strong enough to withstand the water pressure. Therefore, we worked alongside them, understood their needs, and gave appropriate solutions for all the groundwater problems they encountered near the construction site.
